Owners
and proprietors Tom and Wendy Christensen have a combined industry experience of over 40 years. Wendy holds a current Level 1 NCAS teaching qualification and has been involved with Pony Club and EFA Eventing for the past 25 years. Tom, a fencing contractor and qualified builder and carpenter, carries out all maintenance on the property to a high standard.

Since purchasing the property in March 2008, they have been working hard to improve the already great facilities including the addition of shelters to all paddocks (private and shared) and the excavation of a 60 x 40m jumping arena.

Jack’s Run is foremost the Christensen family home so maintaining a safe and welcoming environment is a priority. Horse numbers are small so agisters have regular access to facilities without overcrowding or compromising the relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Please note whilst horses are supervised daily, this is not a full board facility. There are no feeding or rugging services. Agisters attend their own horses on a regular or daily basis.

About Jack
Tom and Wendy adopted the 1 year old Jack from the RSPCA some 11 years ago. Seized from his previous owners, Jack had been mistreated and was so malnourished he required intravenous fluids for a week.

He had also lost his ability to bark. Knowing he'd been given a second chance, Jack became a loyal friend and companion to Tom, Wendy and later their daughter Esta.

Always fascinated by horses and sheep Jack could often be found in the paddock just sitting and keeping watch over them.

With Jack always accompanying them through changes of homes and locations, Wendy and Tom always maintained when they finally found their dream property it would be named after Jack.

Sadly Jack recently passed away after a short illness but
Jack's Run continues to operate in his honour.
